Terms of Service

By using DoorKik (doorkik.com and related APIs), you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@doorkik.com.

1. The service

DoorKik provides map-based discovery and research tools to help you identify local businesses and prepare outreach. Drafts are staged for you to review and send. We do not guarantee meetings, revenue, or delivery into any inbox.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your workspace.

3. Acceptable use

• No unlawful spam, harassment, fraud, or deceptive practices.
• Comply with email and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
• Do not attempt to scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service beyond allowed APIs.
• Do not use DoorKik to build a competing bulk contact database for resale.

4. Research and third parties

Research may use public sources and third-party data providers. Data can be incomplete or outdated. You remain responsible for verifying contacts before outreach and for content you send.

5. Human send policy

By default, DoorKik stages messages. You (or your team) are the sender of record when mail is sent from your connected mailbox. Do not claim DoorKik “auto-closed” deals without your action.

6. Billing

Paid plans and research credits are billed via Stripe. Fees are due as displayed at checkout. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once research credits are consumed.

7. Intellectual property

DoorKik product software, branding, and documentation remain our property. You retain rights to your account content and outreach you send.

8. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOORKIK AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO DOORKIK IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
